The Pennsylvania Environmental Council (PEC) launches study and identifies Spring Garden Street as the best connector between the Delaware and Schuylkill Rivers.
The Spring Garden Connector Project, or “The Connector,” aims to link two trail systems along the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers. The Connector is part of a larger project, the East Coast Greenway. The East Coast Greenway plans to link together over 3,000 miles of bike trails from Maine to Florida.
The Connector will serve a local purpose, but also a much bigger one. Overall, The Connector will make Spring Garden Street safer, greener, more vibrant, and more accessible for everyone. Let’s do it together!
